News from October 2.

The NBA Board of Governors approved the expanded use of instant reply for
determining if a 24 second violation occurred before a shot being made or
foul committed and for determining in the last 2 minutes of regulation or
overtime who touched the ball last prior to the ball going out of bounds.

Chicago released Curtis Stinson.

Milwaukee released Dominic James and Charles Gaines.

Houston picked up their 10-11 option for Aaron Brooks.
