The LA Clippers re-signed Steve Novak to a 1 year contract.

Milwaukee elected not to match Minnesota's 4 year, $16 million offer 
sheet to restricted free agent Ramon Sessions, making him a member of 
the Timberwolves.

Charlotte co-owner William Beck died in an airplane crash.  He was 49
years old.

The Basketball Hall of Fame held the enshirement ceremony for the
inductees for the class of 2009.
The inductees are: 
  Players
    Michael Jordan  played 13 seasons with Chicago Bulls and 2 seasons
                    with Washington Wizards, won 6 NBA Championships, won
                    Olympic Gold Medal in 1984 and 1992, lead NBA in
                    scoring 10 times, NBA MVP 5 times, NBA Finals MVP 5
                    times, NBA career leader in averaging 30.12 points
    David Robinson  played with San Antonio Spurs 89-90 - 02-03, won NBA
                    Championship in 1999 and 2009, won Olympic Gold Medal
                    in 1992 and 1996, lead NBA in scoring in 93-94 with
                    29.8 points
    John Stockton   played with Utah Jazz 84-85 - 95-96, NBA career leader
                    in assists with 25,806 and in steals with 3,265, led
                    NBA in assists 7 times, won Olympic Gold Medal in 1992
                    and 1996
  Coaches
    Jerry Sloan     coached Chicago Bulls 3 seasons, Utah Jazz coach since
                    88-89 (21 seasons), over 1,050 career NBA coaching wins
                    with a winning percentage of 60%
    C. Vivian Stringer  won over 800 games as NCAA coach, 3rd all-time in
                        NCAA women's coaching wins
