Detroit signed 2nd round draft pick (#36) Terrico White to a 2 year,
minimum contract, with the 2nd year at the team's option.

The LA Lakers signed 2nd round draft pick (#58) Derrick Caracter to a 2
year, minimum contract with the 2nd year at the team's option.

Rodrigue Beaubois (Dal) underwent surgery on his left foot to repair a
broken 5th metatarsal and is expected to be out 2 to 3 months.

The Basketball Hall of Fame held the enshirement ceremony for the
inductees for the class of 2010.

    Karl Malone     Played 85-86 - 02-03 with Utah and 03-04 with LA
                    Lakers, MVP 1997 and 1999, 11 time All-NBA First Team,
                    Averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds, won Olympic Gold
                    Medal in 1992 and 1996
    Maciel Ubiratan Pereira  Brazilian player who won South American
                             championships in 1963, 1968, 1971, 1973,
                             and 1977
    Scottie Pippen  Played 17 season in NBA, including 12 with Chicago,
                    won NBA Championships in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997,
                    and 1998, won Olympic Gold Medal in 1992 and 1996
