Miami signed Patrick Beverly.

Phoenix signed 2nd round draft pick (#46) Gani Lawal to a 3 year contract,
minimum contract with the last 2 years at the team's option.

Portland signed 2nd round draft pick (#34) Armon Johnson.

The LA Lakers re-signed head coach Phil Jackson and assistant coaches Jim
Cleamons, Frank Hamblen, and Brian Shaw.  The Lakers also named Chuck
Person as an assistant coach.
