Clyde Drexler (Hou) will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
His time frame for returning will not be known until after the surgery,
but it could be anywhere from 3 to 10 weeks or longer.  Houston placed
Drexler on IR.

New York signed Matt Fish to a 10-day contract.

Rod Strickland (Por) skipped the team's Saturday practice and Portland
announced that Strickland's suspension would be extended indefinitely.
