Sacramento activated Michael Smith and placed Byron Houston IR with 
tendinitis in his Achilles.

Scott Burrell (Cha) underwent successful surgery to repair his dislocated
shoulder and is expected to be ready for training camp next season.

Tim Perry (NJ) underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair a tear
of the lateral meniscus in the right knee and will be out 4 to 6 weeks.
