Golden State named P.J. Carlesimo as head coach.  Carlesimo signed a 5
year contract.

Golden State fired GM Dave Twardzik.

Sacramento named Ralph Lewis as an assistant coach and promoted Mike Bratz
to lead assistant.

Vlade Divac (Cha) underwent successful surgery on his left wrist to repair
torn ligmanets.  His wrist will be in a cast for 3 to 4 weeks.
