The NBA named David Robinson (SA) as Player of the Week.  Robinson averaged 
29.7 points including 30-50 FG, 14 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks as San Antonio
went 2-1.
 
The NBA fined Corliss Williamson (Sac) $15,000 and suspended him for 3
games and fined Derrick Coleman (Phi) $10,000 and suspended him for 2 games 
for their fight during Sunday's Sac-Phi game.
 
Danny Manning (Pho) will miss at least 2 weeks with a right abdominal 
strain.
 
Lindsey Hunter (Det) will miss 7 to 10 days with a torn muscle in his
right calf.
 
San Antonio placed Vinny Del Negro on IR with a right tricep strain and
activated Reggie Geary.

Philadelphia placed Scott Williams on IR with bronchitis and activated
Kebu Stewart.
