When I attended the Roswell UFO conference in 1997 some of the local residents recommended
the Nuthin' Fancy Cafe at 2103 N. Main as a place for a good lunch. Actually it is also open
for breakfast and dinner, with home cooked style food as its claim to fame. I particularly enjoyed the
bread, and I thought the main dishes pretty much lived up to the restaurant's claim of having home made
food.
I have eaten at the restaurant subsequently, and enjoyed the same good food. Since that time it
closed, and has now reopened with new owners. It seems to be as popular as ever, and as far
as I know is still a good place to eat.
