Cornerstone Bakery Café is a popular place in Ruidoso for breakfast and lunch, but it is also well known for its fresh baked goods including breads, pies, cookies, muffins, and pastries. I have not tried the regular meals, but I can let readers know of the great bakery items that are available. I know almost everything tastes better in the mountain air of Ruidoso, but the pastries here are really better than are normally found.

Cornerstone Bakery Café has a collection of specialty coffees, and it seems to specialize in high quality items. Cornerstone has been open since 2004, making it one of a small number of restaurants that have been able to stick around for this period of time. After trying the pastries, I can certainly understand why it has been successful.
