I talked to some residents of Astoria who indicated that Hong Kong was the best Chinese restaurant to be
found in the city. This may be true--I not only enjoyed my meal, but the food was better than I normally find
outside major metropolitan areas.
I was disappointed in the menu selection for vegetarian dishes, but I was able to get a vegetable dish that had a very good flavor. The hot and sour soup was also very good. The restaurant seems to specialize in fish dishes. It has a good selection of spicy, Hunan style dishes, but mostly with meat or seafood. |
