Gardski's is a mid-range restaurant that offers a wide range of steaks, hamburgers, salads, and pasta dishes
for those who do not want to spend tons of money for a really upscale meal but who want a good level of
quality. It is one of the few good restaurants located near downtown, so it gets a very good lunch crowd.
At dinner it becomes a different scene, however, with things moving at a noticeably slower pace and people taking their time to enjoy their meal. The dinner menu is probably the closest thing Lubbock has to fine dining, with several pasta and Italian-type dishes among the standout items. I can't say that there are any memorable dishes here; just good quality food. |
