Orem seems to have an abundance of chain restaurants, but P. F. Chang's is probably one of the
better ones. Chang's is a rather upscale Chinese restaurant (at least in price, and in the sense that items
come from the menu rather than a buffet). It also seems to be quite crowded and difficult to get in.
My visit to the Orem P. F. Chang's was my initial experience with the restaurant, and I thought the food was good. They had a wide selection, no MSG was used, and I could get the vegetable dishes I wanted. It was quite expensive, and I thought the prices they charged were not justified, but at least my apprehension about eating in a "chain" was eased. I don't know if each restaurant in the chain is allowed to have its own menu and cooking style, but if so, the one in Orem seems to be one of the better ones. |
