Pho Hoa is actually part of a chain of restaurants--there is one in the International District in Seattle, and
others in the US, Canada, and Asia. It doesn't really matter because the one in Issaquah is locally owned
and operated, and I suspect different from the others.
I thought it was an excellent place to get a large bowl of pho to go, take it home, and either make a meal of it or save some of it for lunch the next day to go with whatever leftovers were in the refrigerator. The Pho Ga (chicken pho) made with chicken broth is not as flavorful as the regular beef pho, but as far as I am concerned is more healthy. I give Pho Hoa credit, though, for having a chicken pho that tastes better, and in particular has better quality meat, than many other places I have frequented such as the pho restaurants in Oklahoma City's "Little Saigon." Even though I like the pho here, other dishes such as the Vermicelli Bowls, as not as good as at other Vietnamese restaurants. The Bubble Tea was really poor quality and not worth the price. |
