This is my experience in Beijing, China in the Summer of 2009.

This is the typical hotel outlet that was seen in all the hotels I stayed at in China.
All electrical current in China is at 220V.
The top outlet accepts both the
flat blade Type A
and the
round pin Type C
plugs.
The bottom outlet accepts the
Type I
plug.
So this outlet can accept 3 different kinds of plugs.
