The introduction sign to South Lake. They have an interesting water system here that continuously circulates water from the lake throughout the whole village. Somehow this water gets filtered and purified for drinking. How it does this is not clear. The tour guides don't know this.

It would be interesting to find out. The village water system makes them self sufficient for fresh water.
