China 2009

By Al Wong

This is my experience in Beijing, China in the Summer of 2009. If you came to this webpage first, it's better if you start from the beginning of the story.

[Iv Pole]

At the hospital at Jiuzhaigou.

This is a picture the IV bottle (and pole) which is connected to me at my extreme leftside. It looks like they are giving me just plain sugar water. It isn't helping. The problem is I'm not dehydrated. I'm suffering from altitude sickness. I'm told they give this IV treatment to every patient who comes in no matter what the ailment.

I've also been connected to a tube of oxygen on my rightside. That isn't helping either. I still have this massive headache.

The IV pole looks like it's been through a lot and has seen better days. It has various pieces of tape stuck to it. There's even a coin stuck there!

Given the LACK of care I received here, I would not come back to this hospital again.

This picture was takened by my Mylo COM2.
