China 2009

At Xi'an

This is one of the first exhibits you see when you walk into the Han Museum. These three guys are naked because the clothes they wore had rotted away over time. Hey, they had worn them since before 200 BC! They also had arms at one time too but their arms were made of wood and these rotted away as well. Only the clay has endured the centuries.
