China 1999

This is my experience in China in the Summer of 1999. If you came to this webpage first, it's better if you start from the beginning of the story. 6/28/99 My Dorm Bathroom, Beijing This is my bathroom at the language academy dorms. The picture looks better than reality. The ambient light is much darker than this as the bathroom is lit only by flourescent lights. The amount of usable floor space is something like 4X5 feet (i.e. not much) and the ceiling is very low. Notice the floor. Signs of a leaky toilet around the floor.
