China 1999

This is my experience in China in the Summer of 1999. If you came to this webpage first, it's better if you start from the beginning of the story. 6/30/99 Central History Museum Entrance, Beijing This is the temporary entrance to the Central History Museum. Note the scaffolding, the temporary sign, the bricks, etc. The museum was being renovated for the 50th anniversary of communist rule in China. The celebrations began early October 1999.
