China 1999

This is my experience in China in the Summer of 1999. If you came to this webpage first, it's better if you start from the beginning of the story. 7/22/99 Stone Tablet Museum, Xi'an This stone tablet is carved with a very stylized Chinese character meaning tiger. This museum was literally a stone library of Chinese culture and learning. There were complete texts written in stone! The number of different types of Chinese scripts carved into stone was amazing.
