What better place to have the World Kite Museum than in one of the kite capitals of the world, Long Beach, Washington!

One of the first images to catch the eye of two recumbent trikers was this picture of a Peter Lynn kite powered delta.

The museum has more than a photograph of his first prototype.

Doreen eyes a very large kite,

before being caught in the talons of its neighbor.

Raymond, a small town of 2,900, supports a world-class carriage museum.

Of special interest to recumbent trikers is this complex C suspension system, combined with the more traditional leaf springs. This should provide some inspiration for home builders.

I try my hand at wheel building.

No Ackerman compensation needed with this kind of steering.
