The Nathan Chapman and South Hill Community Park Trails are about five miles in length, when combined with a loop around the fields of Rogers High School on the north end. They meander through wetlands and a forest of large trees, crossing bridges and rolling terrain.
The trail and park are equipped with rest rooms and a drinking fountain, as well as picnic tables scattered along the route.
A long, S-shaped bridge, carries you across the woodland marshes, while another leads to the open wetlands.
Rails protect the native plants in the preserve. A fork connects the two loops of the Chapman and South Hill Trails.
