Let me introduce myself

My name is Jim Heida Jr, I am 32 and am a full time vent user. I have
Duchenne MD and a good friend told me about this list. I have been on a vent
since December 85 all because of complications surrounding a kidney stone,
which led to Bronchitis. Fortunately (nock on wood) I've never had Pneumonia
or needed any breathing treatments. I am not hindered by the vent, I attend
business college and own & operate my own consulting business. It took a long
time to adjust to life on a vent but can say that I am thrilled to be alive.
