Alcohol? That would do bad stuff to me. My skin is sensitive and drys
out too easily. I use 1% Acidic Acid (prescription for very mild
vinegar). I'm allergic to a few topical antibiotis including triple
antibiotic. The acidic acid kills the germs that need to be removed. It
is also a good preventative. Haven't had that bad taste 4 awhile now.
Since everyone is different, I'd seek a doctor's opinion. I also have a
carbonated beverage 2 clear my throat. Eating spicy hot food works
sometimes (oh, beware of the natural gas it gives you ;-)).
