I have never experienced the above mentioned situation...because I can put
the tube back onto the trach. I can imagine the fear and panic when this
happens, because occassionally I get really thick mucus clogged in the trach
tube. When this happens you feel like you are going to die. It doesn't
happen often, but when in does minutes seem like hours.
