Bob,

-> Guys, my PLV-100 draws 5 amps per hour on DC. My vent battery is
-> rated at 25 amp hous, i.e., about 5 hours use on PLV-100. What r
-> your external batteries rated at? 100 amp hours? 50 amp hours? How
-> big are they? I'm curious.

I don't know how many amp hours <or what that even means> my
batteries are rated at. I do know it is a 12v deep-cycle lead-acid "wet
cell". My battery is surprisingly small compared to the two batteries
that power my wheelchair. I think it is the smallest deep-cycle battery
I've ever seen. I've had it since November and I still get between
10-12 hours running time from it. The one thing I notice about it is I
have to be very careful about checking the water level in it. I have to
add water to it about 1-2 times per month. The constant draining and
recharging of every day use will "cook" a battery dry if you aren't
careful. If that happens, the battery is ruined.
