Im 19 ,I ve been on a on vent & uncuffed trach. Due to Muscular
Dystrophy Duchenne & Scolyoisis "never mine the bad spelling :)"real bad
S Curve!. 4rys. and able to talk without the aid of any device ! I use
custom Bivona silcon trach w/ cuff for emergency.
I found it hard to talk after my Tracheostomy surgery, but after the
stoma was established I could talk fine! I went on vent & trach due to
Respitory Arrest without any vent before! I feel better then I ve ever
felt before, I never goten any infections. of course I take anti-biotics
when I start to get sick, wham its gone!! But I swear by Silcon based
