i have an honda 1400 watt generater. i choose it because they are very reliable
and i choose the size to run my LP6, my suction machine, and my oxygen
generater. it will also run a light. honda makes a quiet tousand watt
generater that i would look at if i were you. remember the bigger the generater
the more fuel it uses and the bigger it is. my generater is about as noisy as a
lawn mower. also if you expect to have it available when you need it, it must
be run every three months for a couple hours. a generater is quite useful in
power outs or brown outs. in addition to running the vent and suction machine,
it can run a tv or stereo so you can enjoy some contact with the outside world.
my power company has me on a critical list, they will bring me a generater if
the power is out over four hours. make sure you are on the critical power list
in your company.
as far as batteryies. my vent supplier gave me a car sized gel battery that
will power the vent for 24 hours. the lp6 keeps it charged.
i hope this helps you. the insurance didnt pay for a generater.
if you have further questions, i will be happy to answer them.
