Welcome to the list! Regarding your question about whether a
service dog could be helpful when a vent alarm goes off, my answer is
yes.
Even though I don't have a service dog, I know a few things about
them. I do know some service dogs are trained to help deaf people. They
are trained to alert the deaf person when the doorbell rings, someone
knocks on the door, the telephone rings, etc. I'm sure one could just as
easily be trained to respond to a vent alarm. Hope this helps!
