Hello Hiroko!
Isn't it amazing that we are a world away from each other and we both
heard Kimiyo's presentation? There was a Japanese doctor who accompanied
her. I can't remember his name right now but he told me after I gave an
impromptu speech, that I should come to Japan and help convince your
country to provide more money for home care ventilation. He was quite
dynamic and very sincere.
I did not teach my dogs to respond to the alarm. They just do. I know
that dogs can be taught to respond and will 100% of the time. The breeds
I have are highly intelligent. My male Sheltie (he looks like Lassie) is
very sensitive. He gets upset if anyone is angry. We can't cuss or raise
our voices because Brewster hates it. If I am ill, he won't leave my
side. I really love my dogs. They understand me so very well. DOG is GOD
spelled backwards. It is uncanny how Brewster knows the things he does.
They are a comfort and a true joy.
Have a wonderful day!
Val
