Annette,

I use my vent just at nite as well, and your are right it does get to be a
pain to lug all the stuff around when going out someplace. When I go out I
do have to plan alittle and make sure I have everything I may need while I
am out. Going out someplaces involve taking my portable suction machine,
suction cathaders, and because I am on O2 24/7 I have to also lug around a
oxygen tank. I have to make sure everything is in working order, my oxygen
tanks like to die out on me quite alot and its not too cool when I am away
from home and one dies on me..it has happend a few times. My friends are
very understanding and patient when it comes to my health needs. They help
me carry my stuff, and know there are time I have to stop what we are doing
and go suction. It does get to be a pain in the butt lugging that stuff
around...sometimes I think I carry more then a mom with a newborn baby
haha. I do wish at times I could just get up and leave the house without
having to lug all that stuff with me but I know I have to have it. Far as
having anxiety when i get ready to go out, i don't get that way..heck I
love going out and having a good time or just running errands, I never can
seem to leave the house fast enough for me.
