You said a mouth full!!1 Many nurses were sent to my home cold
turkey with any vent or trache experience. So guess who had to teach
them? Me of course! I spent 2 days teaching an LPN how to suction,
do trache care, circuits etc. She couldn''t remember beans.....She
worked in pysch for 22 years and wasn't used to working with a quad.
Something must be done to stop these agencies from sending us
helpless nurses.
