Hi Karen!
Welcome to the list! I'm guessing you are the one vent dependent as you
did not say who it was??? I'm Becky, am 24 yrs old and have been vent
dependent for 6 years. Matter of fact this month marks my 6 year
anniversary of being a vent user. I use my vent just when sleeping or
taking naps, during the day I cap off my trach and breath on my own. Feel
free to ask any questions you have, someone on this list is usually able
answer it. Oh ya I live in Michigan.
