Don't you mean PLV-100, not LPV-100? Almost had me thinking there
was another new vent. The circuitry is not much different either. I don't
like all the knobs that the PLV-100 has. The clear plastic cover is
fastened with velcro and I'm not the best driver. Quiet is nice, but
doesn't make it a better machine. All vents grow loud with age.

The LP series have built in panels with a "door" cover. The newer LP
are nearly imitating the PLV's and will eventually "evolve" softer. I do
hate it when things evolve but PLV will have its day too, I bet (as VHS
beat Betamax in the 80's remember that?).
