Talking Books

Hi Cindy & every one else on the list. I just wanted to clarify the info
about the talking books. Cindy is referring to audio books that are
purchased from a book store. They can be listened to in the car cassette
player. I was referring to "talking books" from the library of congress.
A person has to be disabled to qualify for this program. The library
gives you a special cassette player. The tapes are recorded on four
tracks, therefore they can't be played on a standard cassette player. The
books are sent back "free matter for the blind or handicapped." They're
great! Happy listening!
