She also got weaned to .3 on her methadone and 9 on her pressure
settings today. Things seem to be going in the right direction. I am
hoping that once she is off of the Methadone that they will start
weaning her adivan (sp?) the only problem with that is that she really
likes her adivan, so I am making the assumption that she won't wean so
easily on that. She is on a list of 25 consistant meds currently and
about 7 as needed meds. I would really like to get her down to just
her vitamins and her puffers by the time she gets home (a total of
about 10 meds) for those of you who have kids home how many meds did
yours come home on??? Were you able to handle all of them? how? The
hospital has been working on getting all of her meds scheduled for the
same times because it was too confusing for the nurses. I am worried
that if the hospital nurses found it confusing that I won't be able to
handle it.
