Excuse me sir, but you misunderstood me. I have no problem with Chris being
upbeat or spreading the "good word" as long as he tells the truth about where
we are in research. By doing so it actually gives more weight to what he's
saying. It helps him push those companies if he would say how far we truly
are, not just from any cure, but also from our understanding. As I work in the
field everyday and see where we are and speak with those researchers who Chris
also speaks with -- i know first hand by the sheer fact of working by their
sides.
My problem is that quads can't even afford catheters, or life saving
things. People here on this very board can't even get a back-up vent, yet he's
talking of cure. My problem is not the "cure" it's the poison that infects our
lives everyday in the form of unfair treatment by insurance/Medicare/Medicaid.
I only want him to help in these areas as well. And why can't they put just
one other disabled individual on their board?!?!?!
Yes, sir, it's a crying shame that Chris can't be as perfect as I!!
