Here's Part 9 of "The Things I Learned in Life" series. I wish to encourage
our co-list subscribers to make constructive reactions, so we could very
well "learn more" from our life experiences and use the lessons in creating
better situations in our day-to-day living.
* I've learned that instead of brooding over the past or
worrying about the future, it is better to concentrate
on today.
* I've learned that the percentage of luck is small and
the overwhelming odds are in favor of those who win
success through struggle.
* I've learned that nobody is perfect and even the best
of us make mistakes no matter how careful we are.
* I've learned that the finest possessions are not the
material things in life but the personal treasures of
kindness, joy, peace of mind, faith and love.
* I've learned that instead of burdening ourselves with
yesterday's mistakes, it is better to forget the past
and face the future.
* I've learned that to live happily, we must get out of
ourselves and get into the lives of others.
* I've learned that we get back from life what we give
to it.
* I've learned that the wise man is the man who knows how
little he really knows.
* I've learned that everything worthwhile in life has to
come out of a background of struggle against obstacles.
* I've learned that we must first learn to live with our-
selves before we can live successfully with others.
Warm wishes. Forthcoming occasion ... Father's Day (isn't that 9 months
after mother's day? Just a joke!).
Sincerely,
Alex
