The Silver Mountain Gondola, originating across the street from TaterTOT Central, is the longest in North America at over three miles.
It rises quickly across the parking lot of the Guesthouse.
Soon you are up in the mountains. That first ridge you saw from the bottom is only the beginning. After you reach it, you go down steeply to another valley, and then up again, only to descend once more before your final climb.
At the top, mountain bikers prepare to launch off into the clouds.
