As the rains come and the snow melts, everything turns sloppy. It is an exciting time for splashing and sliding.

In a short time, deep snow becomes deep puddles. The frozen ground underneath prevents the water from draining.

This is a great place for a high speed turn.

The lawn gets especially mushy, although I have gravel under the grass where the trail crosses it.

As the last of the snow melts, the water on the trails reaches its peak before draining away.
