Animal tunnels under my brush piles gave me an idea for the bent trail.

A foot of excavation was required to provide the necessary headroom. A helmet is still a good idea, in case you forget to tilt your head to one side going and to the other side coming out.

Heavy late May rains made for a wet tunnel transit.

Expanding the idea of tunnel, I visualized riding under the bridge to the bamboo forest.

In summer.

Getting into the pond was easy, and out was possible,

but the bridge was a little low.

Some digging took care of that problem.

Under a bridge led to under a bench, a rolling recliner slipping between the legs of and oversized lawn chair.

The final tunnel on the bent only trail is through a grove of rhododendrons. Branches go over, under, and around the trike as it passes through the insides of these plants.
