persistent infections

I am a 50+ female who uses home mechanical ventilation (PLV-100) due to
scoliosis as a result of Pott's Disease. I use a Bivona trach tube and have
for almost five years. (This is my second stoma; due to my scoliosis the
tube "moves" to the right.)
The problem is a persistent infection(this episode has lasted two months) of
the stoma area. An ENT has determined that the infection is not yeast but
probably a bacteria. He calls it cellulitis. Three types of antibiotics
have been tried including a broad spectrum.
I am looking for suggestions. Please respond to IVUN at gini_intl(AT)msn.com.
