  1. Fixing Windows 7 Update - Restart Loop So your Windows Update does not return any updates anymore. This is a very common problem. Why doesn't Microsoft make their Update function more robust and forgiving?

  1. Webbing the Night Away! It's amazing how much time has passed since I last updated this webpage. Been really busy. Just updated about the half the links.

  1. China 2009 This is my latest trip to China in July! I spent three weeks traveling around the country including the cities of like Xi'an, Jiuzhaigou, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Huangshan. My last week was spent in Beijing to attend FISM!

  1. Sony Mylo COM2 This is my review of the Sony Mylo COM2. It's got a really sharp, crisp touchscreen, a slide out keyboard, a web browser and it supports Skype! I like it. What more do you want?

  1. Installing Windows XP over Windows Vista on a Sony Vaio Laptop! Ever try installing Windows XP over Windows Vista on a Sony Vaio laptop? It's incredibly hard to do but I did it!

  1. Annoying Survey Forms That Don't Work! Aren't you tired to on-line forms that don't work right?

May 11, 2006
  1. Hey! I finally learned how to create an RSS Feed to my webpage. I just didn't have the time to do it until now. It wasn't too hard to do actually if you know HTML and the result is pretty cool. I decided to point the RSS feed to My Writings webpage since most of my articles are there anyway.

February 4, 2006
  1. My review of the IOPS F5 MP3 player. This is my second MP3 player! This is my upgrade to the F325 player I bought about 18 months ago.

October 18, 2005
  1. Have you seen the Rough Science TV show yet? It rocks!

September 2, 2005
  1. Finally updated my Computer page after a very long hiatus.

July 22, 2005
  1. I had the weirdest series of phone interviews for work. I ask you, would YOU work for them?

May 29, 2005
  1. I couldn't stand it anymore. Read why I think GE Transportation Sucks.

May 2, 2005
  1. I discovered how to make money on the Internet that isn't a scam! It isn't easy, it takes time and there is a learning curve but I think it's worth the effort.

January 8, 2005
  1. Added a Windows 2000 machine to my local network. My network now includes machines running five different versions of Windows!

October 12, 2004
  1. Wrote Why the United Parcel Service Sucks. UPS screwed me out of another package sent to me. This is getting very annoying.

September 14, 2004
  1. I see it's been a while since I wrote something new. I have been busy traveling and looking for new work! I actually have been updating my more recent on-line articles too.

  2. Wrote a review of my very first MP3 player, an IOPS F325 MP3 player. Despite some shortcomings in the user manual and firmware, I like the player.

March 22, 2004
  1. Created my own favicon.ico image and linked it to the more recent/popular webpages I wrote. Been meaning to play with this for some time. It only shows up on IE 5.0+ and Netscape 7.* browsers though.

March 21, 2004
  1. Don't wait for slow transfers over the serial cable when you could configure an ActiveSync connection on a faster ethernet LAN. Share files and install new programs quickly on your Windows CE 2.00 computer.

  2. Fixed a few broken links in the last few entries on this webpage. Just discovered them. No one told me before.

December 12, 2003
  1. Due to popular demand, I have expanded the information on how I set up my LAN in Internet Connection Sharing With All Things Windows. There are now separate descriptions on connecting each version of Windows and a common problems section.

May 19, 2003
  1. Wrote a summary of how I connected up an ethernet local area network in Internet Connection Sharing With All Things Windows. The network includes machines running four different versions of Windows! On top of that, all machines share the same dialup line via the LAN!

May 18, 2003
  1. Wrote a rant Why Windows Sucks. I just had to vent. I am now convinced Windows is a scam.

April 6, 2003
  1. Wrote an article, Secure Telnet for Windows CE 2.00: Installation Instructions for OpenSSH. The installation procedure is rather involved. This was for my LG Phenom Express but I think anyone with a WinCE 2.00 machine would find this useful.

January 29, 2003
  1. Wrote a short article, Your Money is No Good Here.

September 1, 2002
  1. Changed ISPs from Olgrande.net to Eskimo.com. Olagrande went out of business and was absorbed by Eskimo. Made some minor changes to a few webpages. The biggest change is that Eskimo does not support CGIs written in C. Their web server runs on a different platform than the machine supporting their shell accounts. Hopefully, they will get a cross compiler up soon.

April 30, 2001
  1. First upload attempt of my personal web page onto Olagrande. I made some massive changes and not everything may work. Still checking links. I decided to get rid of my Public Service Announcements because they were getting old and it didn't seem people were reading them anymore. I have transferred several of my writings that seem to be more popular (via email feedback) or have information which I deem to be of value. At least almost everything is updated now!

April 27, 2001
  1. I changed ISPs from Primenet to Olagrande a few days ago and am starting to port over my webpages. This is not a trivial task. For one thing, I have to change all references to Primenet including email addresses, URLs, CGIs, etc. It also gives me a chance to fix broken links and add more material. Because of this, I am going to be selective in what I port over as some webpage information is old and/or obsolete.

I have been with Primenet since February 1995(!) and was considered a charter member. Since that time, Primenet has merged at least three separate times with other companies! This latest merge is with Earthlink and now Primenet no longer supports dialup service.
    Time to bail.
